About Me

Hi! I'm Nandi!

I am a sophomore at Rutgers Business School from South Brunswick. I'm studying Business Analytics & Information Technology with a minor in Spanish. I'm extremely interested in technology and finance and I hope to work in the corporate division of a fashion company! I've struggled with many issues from asthma and eczema to anorexia and depression! I'm just trying my best to take everything as it comes in hopes of recovering. Finally, I'm a very fun, light hearted person, I love my friends and family, especially my puppy Rudo! I enjoy learning about new cultures and languages as well as traveling! I also like to think I'm some what creative! I can't wait for everyone to read my thoughts!!

Why this blog?

For me, helping others and trying my best to treat others with kindness have always been my main goals in life. This past year has been one of the hardest and most life changing years of my life. Even before that, I struggled greatly with many different issues. With having realized this, I knew there was something I should do with my voice and I want to make the most of what's to come. So, welcome to blog! I just to preface this by saying I am in no way shape or form a writer but, I want to use this platform to talk about issues like eating disorders, depression, anxiety, the South Asian community, college, the pandemic and more. I've always been one to be very open about mental health, sexual health and pretty much everything, so I want to break past the stigma and put it all out there in hopes to help or inspire someone. Mental health is quite often brushed over or not talked about due to embarrassment or societal culture, especially in the South Asian community.

It will get better

This is not a survival or recovery story, this is a surviving and recovering story. For anyone that is struggling, trying their best to survive, or watching a loved one struggling, this is for you. I hope sharing my experiences and thoughts will inspire and help you get through whatever it may be that you're struggling with. It will get better.

I’m always looking for incredible people and partners, let’s get in touch!
